General Description
The 7 Ausangate Lagoons are a group of beautiful lagoons located in the Cusco region of Peru, at the foot of the imposing Ausangate Mountain. This lagoon system is located in a stunning landscape of snow-capped mountains, deep valleys, and green grasslands, creating a unique contrast of colors. The lagoons, such as Ollacocha, Jatuncocha, and Puca Cocha, are famous for their crystal-clear waters and the mystical energy they emanate, surrounded by rich Andean biodiversity. Each of these lagoons has its own beauty and uniqueness and is considered sacred by local communities, who believe these waters have healing powers. The hike to the 7 Ausangate Lagoons is a challenging but spectacular trek, ideal for trekking and nature lovers.
Itinerary
Early at 4:00 a.m., the vehicle will pick you up at your hotel and head south to Cusco. On the way, we will pass through Oropesa “capital of artisanal bread where the famous chutas are produced, we will also pass through Andahuaylillas, Ccatca, picturesque towns we will pass through other towns until we reach Ocongate the most important town on this route to get to TINKE located at 4,100 meters above sea level from here we take a path to get to PACCHANTA up to this point the mobility arrives here we leave and get ready to start our walk. Also in Pacchanta are the natural hot springs. At 07:30 we begin the walk along the streams that come down from the mountain on the way we will see vizcachas or wild rabbits on our walk we will contemplate 2 very important glaciers such as Cayancate and Apu Ocongate sacred mountains since Inca times and to this day people hold deep respect for their mountains. Thus we arrive at the first lagoon called Puka Coccha, it is the highest this over 4,800m / 15,748 feet high, other lagoons are Comer Cocha, Azul Cocha, and Otorongo Cocha. The distances between lagoons are short, about 10 minutes of walking, so we can see all the lagoons and later return to the town of Pacchanta for lunch. Later, we return to the city of Cusco, along with the wonderful and extraordinary experiences.

Flexibility
- The cancellation policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies without penalty. Otherwise, a 100% penalty applies.
- The rescheduling policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies until December 31, 2025.

- Tour start time: Between 4:00 and 5:00 AM (it is recommended to be ready at the pickup point 15 minutes in advance).
- Passengers are responsible for arriving on time according to the established itinerary of the purchased tour package. Otherwise, they may be able to join the corresponding service later under their own means (transportation). No refunds will be issued for missed services.
