General Description

We begin the tour at Parque del Amor in Miraflores, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. We then visit Huaca Pucllana, an ancient temple of Lima culture, and El Olivar Park, a peaceful retreat in the heart of San Isidro. We continue to the Historic Center, where we’ll walk through its colonial streets and visit the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs. Finally, we arrive at Plaza Mayor, surrounded by the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the Lima Cathedral—icons of the city’s history.

Itinerary

Our adventure begins at 8:00 AM, where our guide will pick you up at your hotel to begin this fascinating tour of Lima. We begin our day at Parque del Amor, located in the vibrant Miraflores district, famous for its modern architecture and romantic atmosphere. Next, we head to Huaca Pucllana, an important archaeological site that was a ceremonial temple of the Lima culture. (Panoramic view) During the visit, you will learn about the history of this ancient civilization and its relationship with spiritual and ceremonial life in the region. We continue to El Olivar Park, a green oasis in the heart of San Isidro, one of the most traditional and exclusive districts of Lima. This park, famous for its centuries-old olive groves, is a place of peace and tranquility. Next, we head to the Historic Center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will see places like the Plaza Mayor, which was the heart of the city during the colonial era, and some of Lima’s most emblematic monuments. We’ll also visit the Convent of San Francisco de Asís, an important religious site in Lima, known for its catacombs, an ancient cemetery with thousands of human remains that reflect the city’s colonial history. Our tour concludes at approximately 1:00 PM.
